Welcome to Race Track Chaplaincy of America Northern California! 

Rob Cochran has done a wonderful job of keeping the various projects and services moving forward. Rob's formal title is ASSISTANT CHAPLAIN but the vast majority of responsibilities are on him at present. He oversees the food and clothing giveaways and is the point person for emergencies that arise.
Race tracks are a community and a culture. It is a love of horses that brings everyone together on a track. Our local Chaplaincy is part of a larger national organization. Here is a video that will offer some insight into the organization and its value to the racing community:

​IMPORTANT UPDATE ON HORSE RACING IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA

I am heartbroken to report that Pleasanton will be closing March 25,2025. It does not appear that the Fair Racing will continue in Northern California. Many people have retired, lost their jobs, or moved to other tracks. The future is very uncertain for everyone. Rob will continue to serve the community as long as he possibly can. The trailer park plans on staying open for families and be partially subsidized until June, making it easier for families with children to complete the school year.  
Our hearts and prayers are with the entire racing community during these challenging times. 

It is with a heavy heart that I must report that racing in Northern California has come to and end. This vibrant community that once flourished is gone. RTCA Nor Cal wants to express their gratitude to the many individuals and organizations who's generous donations of TIME, TALENT AND FUNDS deserve our gratitude. It would be impossible to name and list them all, so many have participated and been critical to the efforts of the chaplaincy over the years. Much gratitude to all~

-Thanks to Glenda Markle for buying and organizing those gifts for our kids. 
-The National Race Track Chaplaincy of America in Lexington, KY for support- financial, encouragement and oversight.”
 
Community Alliance, had several donation drives and provided some special events at Golden Gate. 
Golgotha Church in Richmond provided special events and Bible teaching for many years.
